Studio 6-Mcallen, Tx Hotel, McAllen

My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the room I had was ready, being located at the end of the building made it noisy, especially for someone elderly like me. Unfortunately, it seemed like the room had not been fully prepared despite my late check-in at 9 PM. On the bright side, the service was impeccable, with staff engaging guests in conversations and even assisting a woman in booking her room. The presence of a kitchenette was a pleasant surprise, complete with pots, pans, and a full-sized fridge. However, the dining experience was not ideal as the air conditioning didn't cool the room properly, and there was a noticeable stinky smell and flies in the dining area. The location was convenient, close to various amenities and shops. In terms of facilities, the laundry service was efficient and appreciated.

The hotel had a great location close to stores and restaurants with spacious rooms and friendly staff. However, the air conditioning units were unreliable and the smell of cigarettes was a downside.

The hotel was very clean and spacious, offering a lot of room. Props to the assistant manager Joel for being very nice, but they were lacking towels and the noise was a downside. Overall, I enjoyed the ample space in the rooms.
